After a cooked breakfast Robin drove us to the bicycle shop in Coalport, where he is doing this week’s frame building course :bicycles by design
While he got measured up etc. I walked to Ironbridge and back along the Severn. Saw quite a few things that I hadn’t seen the last few times I was here, but unfortunately the bridge itself is in scaffolding. That meant one could have a closer look at the underside, though :
After checking on progress and picking up the Brompton I cycled to ‘our ‘ Landmark Trust property :Langley Gatehouse
That bike ride was quite an adventure on the Brompton, quite hilly, wonderful narrow lanes with hedgerows, some off road… Arrived just before it started raining 🙂

And there is a very ‘full’ apple tree in the grounds :
